Host an Event

Wherever you are, you are invited to host.

International Calf & Cow Mother’s Day lives through us— through the spaces we create, the stories we share, and the love we are willing to embody in community.

Wherever you are, you are invited to host.

Gather in ways that feel true to your heart

Today we have a chance to create a new tradition—or, one might say, a chance to expand an old one. On Mother’s Day weekend we will hold the first International Calf and Cow Mother’s Day, a ritual of remembrance, education, and celebration that centers mother–child bonds across species. Please host an event.

Host a Mother’s Day Brunch

Create a beautiful, plant-based gathering that celebrates nourishment without harm. Share meals, stories, and the deeper meaning of motherhood—honoring all mothers, human and non-human.

Hold a Vigil

Stand in quiet witness for the mothers and babies separated. Light candles. Speak their names. Create space for grief, for reverence, for truth.

Create a Community Art Project

Invite people of all ages to contribute. Paint, write, collage, or craft. Let the collective expression of love and compassion become a living tapestry.

Share Recipes of Kindness

Offer your favorite plant-based dishes—simple, delicious, and life-giving. Food becomes a bridge, a soft and welcoming way into change.

Table in Your Community

Set up a compassionate presence in your local area. Share information, offer conversations, and invite others into awareness with kindness and openness.

Host a Documentary Screening

Bring people together to learn and witness. Follow the screening with a circle of reflection, allowing space for connection, questions, and shared insight.

Visit a Local Sanctuary

Consider inviting a non-vegan friend to meet beautiful cows and other animal friends and share vegan mylks.

You Don’t Have to Do It Alone

Every gathering matters, large or small. A circle of two is enough. A table, a candle, a shared meal… this is how movements grow. This is how hearts open. This is how we remember who we are.
