International Calf and Cow Mother’s Day (ICCMD) (May 9-10, 2026) is a two-day global event that is part of a movement to honor and protect the sacred mother–child bond across all species, wild and “domesticated”. In drawing attention to the plight of the non-human mothers and children with whom we share the planet, we widen our circle of compassion to embrace all beings and the homes that sustain them: forests, oceans, grasslands, rivers, and sky.
