Dear Climate Healers Family,

If you subscribe to the idea that “There is NO Planet B,” then you might believe that we have no choice but to continue spiraling downward on our current path of self destruction and ecological annihilation.

That is not true. There IS a Planet B.

Planet B is the current world of Planet A turned upside down.

On Planet A, with its climate heating civilization built on a foundation of falsehoods, the media apparatus is greased to rapidly spread falsehoods in order to keep the global human population addicted, sick and compliant. Therefore, it is not surprising that falsehoods spread much faster than the Truth and become difficult to dislodge once they get stuck in our minds.

The good news is that the foundation of falsehoods on Planet A is already crumbling before our eyes in the light of the Truth.

There are four main falsehoods baked into the foundation of Planet A:
1. Protein is only found in animal foods.
2. Calcium is only found in dairy foods.
3. Human well-being necessitates unfettered economic growth.
4. Fossil fuel use is the leading cause of climate change.

Those who knowingly promote these falsehoods, even to innocent children, must have truly developed hearts of stone as the carnage they unleash results in tens of millions of deaths each year. Perhaps they believe that they are “managing” the human population just as they are managing wildlife populations with guns, lethal traps and culling expeditions.

The average global diet, with the meat and dairy heavy Standard American Diet (SAD) as its ideal, is responsible for tens of millions of deaths worldwide each year, both from calorific excess and global hunger. Hunger and hunger-related causes alone kill 8 million people each year.

The global food system procures more than five times as much food as humanity needs from the planet and yet manages to starve 700 million people while it renders 95% of Americans in the richest country in the world chronically deficient in an essential macronutrient, fiber, not to mention numerous micronutrients.

This is because the food system on Planet A is optimized to ensure that the most exotic food is available to the richest person at any time. It is not optimized to ensure that all humans have access to healthful foods providing adequate nutrition.

Next, the unfettered economic growth paradigm is so woven into the fabric of society on Planet A that no one blinks an eyelid even when for example, Norway, a country whose Country Overshoot Day fell on April 16 in 2024, boldly proclaims in its Climate Action Plan that it is “a plan to cut emissions, not economic growth.”

Every year, a Country Overshoot Day marks the date when the planet’s annual ecological capacity budget would be used up if everyone on Earth lived at the same level of consumption as the residents of that particular country. For the remainder of the year, humanity would be living on the backs of future generations.

It is amazing how everyone is programmed on Planet A to believe that striving for economic growth even when a nation has already grown three, four or even ten times more than what the planet can support is as normal as eating food, drinking water, breathing air or pursuing happiness.

Finally, as Gerard Wedderburn-Bisshop pointed out during his presentation at V-COP20, in order for mainstream climate spokespeople to proclaim that fossil fuel use is the leading cause of climate change, the UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) cooked the emissions accounting books by
a) undercounting land use change emissions by a factor of 3;
b) undervaluing methane emissions by a factor of 3; and
c) not counting the cooling effects of fossil fuel combustion.

Climate change related deaths already total an estimated 5 million per year worldwide. If the world implements the recommendation in the State of the Climate Report: 2024 to “rapidly phase down fossil fuel use as a top priority,” it would rapidly increase the anthropogenic global warming on the planet by 50% in a matter of weeks.

The mind boggles as to how that might increase climate related deaths into the tens or even hundreds of millions per year amidst planetary destruction.

Enabling the stone-hearted are the clay-footed, who knowingly stay silent as the stone-hearted promulgate falsehoods and perpetrate these atrocities in order to maintain the status quo ecological Ponzi scheme, regardless of the consequences. The clay-footed don’t have the courage to call out the stone-hearted and tell the truth.

When we know better, we must do better and we must tell better.

Between the stone-hearted and the clay-footed, it is the behavior of the clay-footed that is truly heart-breaking on Planet A. As Elie Wiesel said,

“What hurts the victim the most is not the cruelty of the oppressor, but the silence of the bystander.”

Elie Wiesel knows from first hand experience.

As the light of Truth crumbles the foundation of falsehoods on Planet A and cracks the hearts of the stone-hearted open, please join us to build Planet B from the ruins of Planet A.

The climate healing civilization on Planet B is built on a foundation of openness and integrity.

On Planet B, there is zero hunger because access to healthy nutritious food is a fundamental human right.

On Planet B, there is no poverty because everyone’s basic needs are met by the community.

On Planet B, good health and well being is common because healthy habits are normalized in childhood itself.

On Planet B, quality education is freely available to everyone.

On Planet B, honesty and humility are common traits among humans in relation to each other and in relation to the precious remaining wild creatures that we still share the Earth with.

Please join our call to the UN IPCC to stop cooking the emissions books and reveal the true impact of animal agriculture on climate change.

It is a technical letter intended for the scientists at the UN IPCC to help them break free from the shackles imposed by their political overlords, but please read through it and let us know if you would like to endorse it.
